Privacy Policy

Paramivo is a browser CAD application. Your models are built and stored on your own device. This page describes the limited data the service itself handles.

1. The short version

Your parts, sketches and Python scripts are created and saved in your browser’s own storage. They are not uploaded to Paramivo.
Solid modelling and Python scripting run locally, in a Web Worker and a WebAssembly Python runtime on your device.
The server handles only what an account needs: who you are, whether your trial or subscription is active, and support messages you choose to send.
Google Drive backups, when you enable them, go from your browser to your own Drive.
Analytics and advertising measurement are off until you allow them, and never include model data.

2. Your design data

Parts you create are written to your browser’s local database on the device you are using. Paramivo has no copy and no ability to read them. Clearing site data for this domain deletes them, which is why the application repeatedly encourages you to download .paramivo backups or enable Drive backups.

Exports (STEP, STL, .paramivo) are generated in your browser and downloaded directly. Imported STEP and STL files are read in your browser and are not transmitted to the service.

Python scripts execute on your device inside Paramivo’s bundled runtime. The “Copy AI instructions” button copies text to your clipboard; it does not send your part or your script to any AI service. If you choose to paste your design into a third-party assistant, that disclosure is governed by that provider’s policy, not this one.

Paramivo does not store your raw IP address as a durable record, does not profile you, and does not sell or share personal data with data brokers.

4. Google sign-in

Signing in uses Google OAuth. Paramivo receives your Google account identifier, email address and display name. It never sees your Google password. Your Google account identifier is the stable key for your account; your email address is used for display and billing contact.

5. Google Drive backups (optional)

If you connect Drive, Paramivo requests access limited to the files it creates, and writes your .paramivo model and its paired .step file into your own Drive. Those files belong to you, live in your Google account, and remain there if you stop using Paramivo. Paramivo stores the authorization in encrypted form so that you can reconnect; it does not keep copies of the files. You can disconnect in the app and revoke access at any time in your Google account settings.

6. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout and are never seen by or transmitted through Paramivo. Paramivo stores the Stripe customer and subscription references, the status, and the renewal date. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data under its own privacy policy.

7. Analytics and advertising

Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement load only after you allow them in Privacy choices, and only on the live production deployment. When enabled they measure page visits, signups and subscription purchases. Model file names, script contents, part parameters, authentication tokens and checkout tokens are excluded. Advertising personalization is off. You can withdraw consent at any time in Privacy choices, which stops further measurement.

Paramivo shows no third-party advertising inside the application.

8. Your rights

You can, at any time:

See and change your subscription state in Account.
Export or download every part you have made, without an account.
Delete your account from Account settings. Deletion requires a fresh Google confirmation and removes your account, sessions, subscription record and Stripe customer. As described above, the pseudonymous trial-use hash is deliberately retained.
Withdraw analytics consent in Privacy choices.
Request access to, correction of, or erasure of the personal data described here by writing to paramivo@gmail.com.

Deleting your Paramivo account does not delete parts saved in your browser, nor files already written to your Google Drive. Those stay yours; remove them yourself if you want them gone.

9. Security

Traffic is served over HTTPS. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies. Requests are origin-checked and rate-limited. Drive authorizations are stored encrypted. No system is perfect, and you should keep your own backups of designs that matter.

10. Children

Paramivo is not directed at children and accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under 16.

11. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the “last updated” date above and, where the change affects how your data is used, surfaced in the application.
